Cabaret Night planned at NHS

On Saturday, May 10, the Newark High School gym will "swing" to the music of Glenn Miller, Count Basie and other big band and jazz composers as the Jazz Ensemble and Vocal Jazz groups present "Cabaret Night" from 8-11 p.m. The setting is informal, with tables for four to six people.

Desserts and beverages may be purchased from student waitresses and waiters. There will be opportunities to dance during the evening. A 50-50 raffle will also be held to benefit the high school music program.

Reservations can be made by calling David Schwind at 331-5150. Individual tickets are $5; tables for 4 are $15; tables for 6 are $25.
