Jazz performance at Seaway

On Sunday, August 31, award-winning jazz singer Nancy Kelly will perform at Seaway Studios in Wolcott from 4-6 p.m.

Her wide background of experience and talent includes performances with The Benny Goodman Band, the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, and Jeff Tyzek Big Band, and shared billing with such well-known artists as Donald Byrd, Dizzy Gillespie, and Chick Corea. She has also appeared at numerous jazz festivals, both locally and throughout the east coast.

The concert will be under cover behind Seaway Studios, located on W. Main St., Wolcott, next to the Pit Stop. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket and their own beverages. Locally grown and prepared organic vegetarian hors d'oeuvres will be served free of charge. Space is limited, so advance purchase tickets are advised. Tickets are $6 for advance sale and $8 on the date of the show (VISA and Mastercard accepted). Call 315-594-2656.

This concert is funded in part by decentralization funds provided by New York State Council on the Arts, administered locally by Wayne County Council for the Arts. Seaway Studios is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing cultural opportunities for the community as well as public gallery space for area artists.
