Cancer Society plans Making Strides walk

Ginny Ryan from TV Channel WOKR 13 was the emcee at the 2nd annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer corporate breakfast on Wednesday, August 6. Corporate sponsors, Breast Cancer survivors and others spoke at the 7:30 a.m. breakfast and registration at the Holiday Inn (Holidome) in Rochester.

Team Captain Kits were distributed in anticipation of the Making Strides walk which will take place on October 5 at Frontier Field.

Those attending from the Wayne County Unit were Mary Welker, Wayne County Executive Director, and Sue Devlin, Anna Copeland, Darya Welker, Carolyn Adriaansen, Gene and Joanne Palmer, Jean Cook, Linda Stopfel, board members and volunteers.
