Marion library news

You've all heard the phrase "every little bit counts." Well, here at the Marion library we are seeing that in the efforts of all the community members who are pitching in to help with our fund-raising drive. In August, the Wilson Family Day Care Center held a back yard carnival to benefit the library.

Participating in this event were Morgan, Nick and Chad Jackson, Brian and Stacy Bloomer, Jason and Andrew Tack, Kristen Hughes, Jordan Angie, Annie Gigliotti, John and Mary Rose Costello, David Bender, Alex and Ian Metcalf, Matthew Wilson. Many friends and neighbors helped these young people in this project. More than $42 was raised for the new library by this effort.
