You have to see this

This unique and exciting international photography exhibit you have to see.

We received an e-mail from Tom Chambers telling us of 'Hyperlink - PhotoForum Worldwide Exhibition.' Chambers organized the event, which is under the auspices of Prof. Andrew Davidhazy from the Imaging and Photography Technology Department, School of Photographic Arts and Sciences of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

The exhibit links to individual images from photographers around the world, all on different servers.

"This may be the first time that individuals have come together through this kind of hyper-linkage," says Chambers. "...This holistic approach tests the true potential of cyberspace to be able to merge 'space' from different points on the globe."

The images have no single theme, but include a wide array of techniques and subjects. The photographers have not met, but communicate through the PhotoForum mailing list. Each may be e-mailed from the individual pages.
