Marion Library wins grant
This grant will enable the library to purchase computer equipment and software to help give the young people of Marion top-notch computer access. This grant will help facilitate the long range goal of the library to provide support services to alternative educational facilities in the community. Pictured are Bill Cloutier, Ronald McDonald Board Vice President, Cher Niedermaier, accepting the check on behalf of the Marion Public Library, and Dan Tuck, Ronald McDonald Board President. Ronald McDonald House Charities provides lodging, comfort and emotional support to families of children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals and reaches out to families with support for other children's charities.
