Cachet marks visit from The Moving Wall

When The Moving Wall visits Newark August 1-7, this special cachet will be available. Local artist Owen Hughes (WWII veteran) donated his art talents for the cachet, which was a cooperative project of the Newark Veterans Council, Postmaster Jim Blandino, and Gil Lewis of the Finger Lakes Stamp Club. The Wall, a travelling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will be constructed in Newark at Stuart Park. During the visit, the cachet will be cancelled at the site for $1.25.
