Papa Joe's team wins tourney Last month, the Seth Foundation held its second annual one-pitch softball tournament at the Williamson Firemen's Field. It was a double elimination tournament and twelve teams participated. The first place winners were Papa Joe's, from Sodus Point. The $1900 raised will enable the Seth Foundation to continue its work. The goal for this year is to be able to aid five or six families who may have a special need. Sharon Sovie of Sodus was the . . .
winner of the Teeny Beenie Babie raffle, which was held in conjunction with the softball tournament. She received a set of 10 Teenie Beeny Babies generously donated by McDonald's of Williamson. Special thanks go to the following: Lessord Chrysler Plymouth in Sodus; Kelly Gray, manager of C-Store; Chuck Minnamon; Williamson Fire Company; Village Mart of Williamson; Eaton's Dairy; Williamson Storage; KM Davies; Kim Murphy, and Larry Bacon; Jim Hill of Rochester and Lynn Van Lark of Sodus for umpiring most of the games and everyone who helped in the concession stand. Plans are underway for next year. If you have a team and are interested in joining the fun, call Barb Bacon at (315) 483-6494. If you would like to make a donation, please mail it to: The Seth Foundation, 6828 Maple Avenue, Sodus, NY 14551. Copyright
