Yankees are coming to the Nine Pines

Nine Pines Country Store in Newark has been selected as an authorized dealer for the most widely recognized scented candle in the United States... Yankee Candle.

Yankee Candle distributes only five new dealerships per region per year. Nine Pines was chosen and will be the largest Yankee Candle dealership in all of Wayne County. The initial display will consist of 20 individual fragrances of housewarmer jar candles, samplers (votives), wax potpourri tarts, scented and unscented tea lights, ionic pillars and free Yankee matches with all purchases.

Nine Pines will offer a large selection of ceramic, glass and tin candle holders and tart warmers. The shop also sells country, primitive and folk art decorating items including wood crafts, punched tinware, homespun dolls, stitchery samplers and pillows, garlands, art prints, spongeware crockery, table linens, birdhouses, angels, bears, cats and cows and more. Nine Pines has an ever-changing inventory with antique cupboards packed full of merchandise from more than 500 artisans.

Nine Pines is located at 7555 Jackson Hill Road in rural Newark (east of Marbletown fire hall). Look for the sign.

The store hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and, Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Call (315) 331-0505 for additional information.
