Emily Bald is a National Merit finalist

Newark High School announced that Emily Bald is a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. Emily, daughter of Rick and Kris Bald, ranked in the top one-half percent of 14,000 students in the United States.

The selection of 7000 Merit Scholarship winners from these 14,000 finalists is now in progress. Announcement of winners will be made in April and May.
