Rotarians convene in
Cleveland
Rotary District
#7120 held a convention last month in Cleveland, home of the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame. Rotarians embraced the rock and roll
theme, with about 600 men and women, attending meetings and
social events. Pictured are a pig-tailed Trudy Hicks of
Newark, and Rochester's WOKR newsman Don Alhart, sporting an
Elvis (?) wig. Alhart was master of ceremonies at the
convention, attended by Rotarians from Western New York. Ten
people from Newark attended the convention. The Rochester Rotary
Club is sponsoring the newest Rotary Club, in Novgorod, Russia.
