When birds of prey cannot be returned to the wild, they are rescued by Wild Wings, if they are lucky. Some birds are injured, while others are raised (for a time) by humans and then are unwilling to mingle with wild animals. The birds are examples for stories, history re-enactments, workshops, conservation programs. These birds made an appearance at Newark's Chase-Pitkin. For info: (716) 392-7500.
