Ceremony in the Village Park Veterans Day ceremony

Lyons citizens gathered today for a Veterans' Day ceremony in the Village Park. Supervisor Jim Fabino presided over the day's events; the Reverend George Kingsley gave the invocation. The Lyons High Band played as the First Lutheran Church bells rang the eleventh hour. Members of the VFW and the American Legion formed the color guard. Special guest speaker was Peter Stirpe.
