Basketry show in Wolcott Eero Tantatalo, master weaver, is the latest artist-in-residence at Seaway Studios Arts & Cultural Center. The center is on West Main Street, Wolcott. Tantatalo, who has been weaving baskets for more than 30 years, moved to Wolcott from his native Finland in 1992. "The fact that Tantatalo is blind and deaf adds an extraordinary dimension to his artistic ability," said Nancy Kasper of Seaway Studios. His work has been featured in craft shows for five years. His baskets are on display and for sale throughout the year at the Seaway Studios Gallery. The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday and by appointment.
