Nadir graduates cum laude

Christine Nadir, a 1993 graduate of Marion High School, graduated Summa Cum Laude this spring from Syracuse University.

Students graduating Summa Cum Laude must maintain an average of 3.8 or higher throughout their undergraduate studies. Christine was also an HONORS graduate, writing her Honors Thesis on the "Shifting Ideals of Femininity."

She received her Bachelor's degrees in both Women's Studies and International Relations. Christine, the daughter of Kathleen Nadir Paetzold, also received the International Relations Department's High Achievement Award.

Christine is working for the Women's Prison Association in New York City.
