Cancer Society haunts parade

FloatThe American Cancer Society won first prize in the Adult Float category in the parade at the Canaltown Festival, in Palmyra. The parade entry touts the coming Haunted rides sponsored by the Wayne County Unit of the American Cancer Society. The rides will be held at Melvin VanHaneghan's Farm, located on Armington Road, Town of Palmyra.  . . .

witchesGet ready for a screaming, fun-filled ride in safe high-sided wagons. You'll find new scenes, new paths and a new Haunted Barn. At the end of the trip through the woods, those of you that are still able to speak will receive a treat of cider, popcorn and apples.

Proceeds for this October event will go towards education and patient services in Wayne County. This event would not be possible without the many volunteers that it takes to get it ready and put it on. Can you help? Please call 331-6480 to volunteer.

Dates are October 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26. Friday nights, 7:30, Saturday and Sundays at 7. Donation is $6 per person.
